Cannot follow instructions

I have gone through the DIY and found these instructions
I am a girl and not super strong, but I pull up as hard as I can on the back seat and it will not budge. Freakin Pssn me off. Am I doing something wrong. |
Where you place your hands can make a difference. You want to try and be as close to the clips as possible. This keeps the seat from wanting to bend which wastes some of the energy you are using to pull up on the seat. Try short quick powerful bursts of tugging. They are hooked in pretty tight.

Now I need to find me amp. I though it was right there under the seat. Back to DIY |
Amp is next to the spare tire, under that plastic cover...

I actually wrenched my back getting it out; was not easy
The amp is on the driver side btw, that wasnt specified |
Ha - it is hard, the first time. Now it's much easier (after several times removed) though my back still hits the roof every time I pull it out.
The amp is in the trunk - not under the back seat. You need to remove the back seat to run wires easily though (after removing top part of seat and rear side panels also) so it's not a waste! |
