2 JL 8w7's in the trunk? anyone know or have these in their g?
 

I use to have 2 JL 10 w7's with a JL 1000/1 amp in my 1998 honda prelude before it was stolen 3 months ago. I know our trunk is really limited in the G so I was wondering if anyone has tried hooking up 2 8's before? I was either thinking of 1 10 but if i could put 2 8's without using the whole trunk and removing the spare, I would go that route. I'd apprciate anyone help on this.

I would check out the 4080 box...you can fit one 10 in sub real stealth in the corner of the trunk and still have a lot of room to spare.

Do a search on the forum, go to search on top, and type in what you're looking for. You can get a lot of info by using search.

Of course its do-able, it just need some skilled fiberglassing, like made box into both rear corner, but I am more than happy with just one 10's

4080's isnt deep enough for 10W7s last time I checked, however someone did put an 8W7 in there instade, and make it into an ported box!

10w6v2 fits quite well in the 4080 box and hits really hard.

I have 2 8L7s in my G. They are in a custom ported enclosure. I have one of my old modded mmats SPL amps on them. I am using a single 4" aeroport.

It is pretty good for a trunk car.
