Didn't get the Nav but want one now
 

I didn't get the nav on my coupe but now I wish I got it. Is there an after market nav that would fit in the same location or do I need to get it at the dealer. Does the dealer even sell it separetly or is it too late?

its never too late, somebody priced it out here before, the dealer told him it would cost $6000 to retrofit it including parts and labor.
I recommend you just get an aftermarket NAV system. Will cost you between 2 and 3 thousand.

If you want a cheaper version that still works well, try any of the Garmin products.

Damn $6000 for a factory nav. I am so pissed at myself for not getting it with the car now.

actually the dealer wasn't the one that quoted me the $6000 price tag, instead they simply said "That's impossible..."
the guy at G35parts.com gave me the price quote... He also mentioned that he could not guarantee whether the parts will be complete and whether it'd work... As of the last time I asked, he said nobody took the plunge....

One dealer in the NY area quoted 3800 for the nav. I dont know if that that included labor, or if it was just the parts.

There are a couple of wrecked G35's on ebay. Wish they'd part them out.

Good idea. Maybe I can check to see if anyone has a wrecked G. Maybe the recycler.
