My non working prototype has been sent for fabrication. I should have a working prototype by Friday (probably sooner but thats when I can pick it up). The working prototype will be 12-Gauge Carbon Steel. Over kill on strength and not corrosion proof but cheap materials and easy to work with. Ultimately it'll go down to 14 or 16 gauge Stailness steel

I was racing last week and sick the week before but I got the non working proto-type fitted to both side just today. I'm going to drop it off at the shop and have them make me a pair of working ones.
If anyone is interested in a set I can ask the guy if he feals like making a couple pairs.

I made my own on my STi, with the exception of a few pieces of the kit purchased from vendors. There was gaps and pieces that needed to be filled with some of my own fabrications and enginuity. You just have to think outside the box and be willing to get dirty. It took me about 3 months to piece together an entire set up and then a couple of days to install it since I ran into some obstacles. But the results were amazing. No more fade at all. I loved every second of my braking zones at the track. So much more initial bite and better modulation. not to mention more predictable, and consistent. here are some links for you to check out even though, they are for another car, it may be a useful start for you to start thinking about what to do.

I think the Nissan Motorsports kit is a good deal. Sure, cheaper home brew solutions could be done or they could offer the same duct out of a heat resistant plastic to reduce cost, but for motorsports they need to keep that weight in check obviously.
If I continue to develop my car for more track exposure, I will def pick these up. I'm too lazy to make my own when I dont have to now.
