NRG Strut bar fitment issue
I just received my NRG strut bar from Staik (sp?) and it was one hell of bar trying to fit. After doing some search, it seems I wasn't the only one but I still want to get some inputs.
So I've mount the two brackets first then attempting to mount the bar, it seems the bar is a bit longer (like everyone said) and it was hard for me to put the screw into one of the side. However, I somehow manage to force the bar and screw in the bolt. But I'm not quite sure how tight I've made since it was already hard to put the screw in. Also, if looking from the top of my engine, the back side of the bar seems to sit a bit higher than the front side.
I'm worried that while I'm driving it may just go loose and pop out of it's position and bulge on my hood.
Can someone give me some input if it sounds like a right installation for this strut bar? or do I still need to tighten it down? or is this bar just not a right fit?
Thanks
