Which springs to go with my Work VS-XX's?

06 g35c without sport suspension
currently have oem 17s

will be getting:
Work VS-XX 19x9.5 +23 or +24 offset (custom center disk) front
Work VS-XX 19x10.5 +23 or +24 offset (custom center disk) rear
Toyo T1R: 255/275

im dropping the g this friday (so i need to make a decision fast) but i dont know if i should go with..

1) 350z h techs (i hear its good for a -.8/-.7 drop)
2) g35 s techs (i hear its good for a -1.1/-.9 drop)
3) other - what brand and how much of a drop is it good for?

EDIT: i don't want to get a camber kit!

Why not get a rear camber kit ? The SPC rear kit is only about $120.00 for arms & bolts or just $60.00 for the bolts. You are spending alot of money why not protect your tires ? In the long run it will pay for itself. You say you want to be low,so do the right thing and get a camber kit.

get h&R i have them but don't have time to get them installed 1.3 front 1 rears

What are your intentions for the drop? lower stance for show? better handling? Do you have a steep driveway? Are you concerned about rough roads?

Yeah, heard the H-Techs for a Z put on a G are somewhere between the S-Techs and H-Techs for a G in drop.

I'm looking at Swift sport compact springs for my drop (F-1.0; R-0.6). Heard they're very good. No break-in sag, etc. But also considering Cusco or Swift coil-overs as well.

check this thread out

it was very helpful to me to see the comparison side by side

What are the best to use with a 20 inch wheel and just fill the gap it leaves i dont want to slam my car I just want to clear up some wheel gap. I have stock 19's on it now. Id like to get something that keeps it as close to stock ride as possible also

Hi-TechG35 Sep 27, 2006 07:36 PM

I hear good things about the Tanabe GF springs.

Dan_K Sep 27, 2006 09:04 PM

How much wheel gap can you handle? If you go with H-Tech's, you will have about a 1" gap all around. With S-Tech's or lower, you need the SPC Camber Kit. If you have the money, I would say Tein Basics.

Ps. I got some Tokico shocks for sale locally, if my sale now doesn't go through.

talked to a friend today and he says i dont need cambers with s techs. just rotate my tires every 3500 miles

i will probably end up doing that
