HELP: Tein S-tech with Koni's
Ok guys, I am confused with the aftermarket shocks of 350z on G35.
I did a bit of researched that all the aftermarket springs or shocks of 350z will all go on G35, but the things I'm wondering, I have tein s-tech of G35 and going to buy koni's yellow shocks of 350Z. Will they go fine? I know the shocks of 350z is shorter than G35, if I go with this setup, does it have enough travelling between shocks and springs? |

Both offer Koni's and D-specs superior valving vs oem. But, your better off with the D-specs because of how they adjust vs the Koni's. With the amount of drop your talking about, you'll be better served by a shock that can adjust to higher level's of compression dampning to help lesson the amount of contact your doing with the bump stops. Koni's only adjust rebound, their compression dampning levels are fixed. |

If I understand you right you want to know what drop amount 350Z S-tech's would do if installed on your G35 coupe. Tein S-tech 350Z springs drop on G35 Coupe 1.2“/1.1“ (fronts are slightly progressive, rears are linear) Spring rates in LBS 386/402 (estimated front intial rate is 327lbs) Just to refresh, here's the S-tech for the G35 coupe. Tein S-tech G35 coupe 1.2"/.9" (fronts are progressive, rears are linear) Spring rates in LBS 358/274 (final rates only, softer intial front progressive rate unknown) Just to say it, with the drop amounts your looking at, get the Tokico D-specs ment for the 350Z. |
