Holiday Project
I lowered my coupe on the sportlines about 15,000 miles ago. I started getting some bounce in the rear about 5,000 miles ago. Since I just installed the springs at first, I figured now is the time to finish the alignment related parts and upgrade the shocks or get coilovers.
I chose the 350EVO front control arms, Koni adjustable shocks all around, Eibach(SPC) rear camber arms and toe bolts, and Eibach anti-sway bar kit (front & rear including bushings) which are not pictured.
I did the spring swap myself and after having the only local shop that I respect give me an estimate of a little over $1,000 I decided to do this job as well. If anyone has any tips on adjusting the Konis that would be great. Also, I need to set the front arms reasonably well so I can drive it in next Friday for the alignment.
My goals are to of course increase the overall handling capacity of the car while providing a fairly wide range of adjustability for possible track days, etc. Also since I'm on OEM 19's, my preference is to have a lot less negative camber to help fill in the wheelwells. For the street, I want the smoothest ride with no bounce. I can always dial up the shocks and sways for hard core cornering, etc.
Speaking of filling in the wheelwells, I am also open to wheel recommendations. I like the OEM set but I would like some wheels and tires that would fit more flush. Nothing too crazy, I don't want ANY rubbing issues front or rear. I love HREs but I'm not willing to drop $8-$10K on rims right now. Maybe Work Varianza T1S or some Volks. I want a diamond cut style center with a high polish lip.
If this post isn't long enough and asking too much for such a low volume poster, do you think that the '06-'07 sport front bumper looks that much better than the '05 with my paint color, etc. to warrant swapping it? I really like the Sportline drop and rates but does anyone know of a spring that would give me another .1-.25" drop??
Thanks for the input!

Let me start off by saying...what a "great" look your G has!
The drop is really nice and the Color is awesome...
I've just finished doing pretty much the same things to my G, using a few different components. Also, I love the look of the Stock Wheels but only wish they were a little wider. I've also just installed Spacers to widen the track and to
make them a little more "flush" to the outside of the car.
Sorry, not trying to "jack" your thread...just wanted to let you know that
your on the right track!!

Nice drop and I think the spacers will help widen the stance until you get the rims you want. I really like the 06 Sport bumper and need to replace my current one so it's the direction I'm heading.

Thanks for all of the input! Yeah, after about 12 years of more conventional car/color combos on 240Z/280ZX/240SX cars, I decided to go a different direction on this car.
I was dead set on getting a graphite or black one until I saw the SS color in person and developed a "vision" for what it could be like. This was in Jan. of 2005, and I still love it. There are days when I kind of wish I had one of the colors that "popped" and was more aggressive but I figure when I get finished with the mods it should be just right for me!
