Question for all the lowered G's on 20's
I'm not going to wade through millions of threads by searching, so I thought I would ask directly:
If you are on 20's, max width and have a drop, how much of a drop did you get before you get rubbing on turns and bumps? I'm debating whether I should get the Sprint Suspension springs. They have a 1.8"/1.8" drop and I'm afraid that will cause more problems than enjoyment. I currently have 20" x 9.5" rims on my G. Not 100% sure about the width, will have to check, but I just told them to max out the lip. Lastly, any suggestions for springs are welcome. My goal is to drop it as much as I can without having rub issues. |
anyone? need advice on what spring to use for lowest drop with 20's without rub issues...
without offsets, there is no way to answer your question
They are +20 and +25. 20 x 8.5 and 20 x 9.5.
Anyone got a similar setup that's got a good drop without rub? |
What size tires? You have skinny wheels, so you should be just fine.
275 on back 245 on front
with those offsets you can pretty much dump it without problems
you might need to roll your rear fenders....i had mine rolled
I think anyone putting on 20s and even mildly dropping should roll fenders. Takes the guesswork out of "WILL IT FIT?"
how much does rolling them cost on the g35?
I am running a 285 in the rear with a 1.7in drop and 20 offset and have no rubbing issues.... I don't see why you would have any issues with that set up at all....
i talked to some guy who said they put the same wheels on another coupe and an H&R coil over setup with a 1.7in drop all around w/o any rubs and issues, so that's reassuring.
thanks for all the input people, looks like i'll plan on getting those sprint suspension springs |
