I'm starting to think that theres no perfect springs for me
I've been looking around for springs that will drop lower than G35 h-techs (didn't even notice the drop). S-techs are too low for me(drive way issues). I've seen other springs such as some Eibach and also have been suggested to look into Swift springs but most people seem to get 350z versions so its much lower than I would like it to be. I'm wondering if there's any springs that will get rid of wheel gap but don't compromise the quality of the ride. I looked at the thread that has all the spring rates and how much it lowers but without pictures its hard to tell how low it actually gets.
So basically what I'm looking for are springs that lower the car a noticeable amount but have about 1 finger at least but no more than 2. I don't want to cut my spring mount so 350z h-techs are out of the question (I want an even drop). Thanks. |

I love my mono flex!!! goto market place there are some great deals on NIB coilovers for sale right now |
If No springs are perfect for you. You have to go w/ coils!
|
coils or S-techs. Even if you're going with coils, you're most likely going to drop it as low, if not lower, than s-techs go.
|
I had driveway issues but I got S techs and if I cut it right, which isn't too hard, I'm completely fine.
|
i don't have enough for coils, wish i did though. basically now what I'm looking for is some springs that drop it a tiny bit more than 350z h-techs but not as low as g35 s-techs.

I don't understand why you don't just get 350z h-techs and cut the springmounts, its not that hard

Aren't the Cobbs a little lower than the Z H-techs? Thats what I have, .6-in drop front and rear on a Z, I think H-techs are .3-in front and .6-in rear, rates are pretty close too. Maybe look into H&R G35 springs or some of the Tanabe springs...RSR is another one to consider.

I actually changed my mind and decided I might as well go with g35 s-techs because I think I can make it up the driveway if I back up. Thanks for the people who responded.
