Sorry to slighty thread-jack but I'd always wondered about these GF210 springs too compared to the 350z tein s-techs. It offered a slighty lower drop than the teins. The DF210 was too low and too soft, and the NF210's had an ideal drop but too soft.

350z Tanabe GF-210
Design: Linear F & R
F Drop: 25mm (1in)(+/-.5" more on the G35)
R Drop: 30mm (1.2in)(+/-.5" more on the G35)
F Stiffness: 6kg/mm (335lb)
R Stiffness: 6.7kg/mm (374lb)

350z Tein S-techs
Design: F: Progressive R: Linear
F Drop: 17mm (.7in)(+/-.5" more on the G35)
R Drop: 14mm (.6in)(+/-.5" more on the G35)
F Stiffness: 6.9kg/mm (386lb) (+23%)
R Stiffness: 7.2kg/mm (402lb) (+16%)

BTW, That's a nice drop on those oem 19's

you realize that if you use the 350z springs on the G it gives you additional .5' drop? That is why i chose this setup, gives you the ride quality and the drop when you choose the 350z version

^ oh yeah, i'm aware of that. I just posted the specs for 350z to maintain a set comparison. I'll update and put a note beside the drop measurements.

Another thing is, the 350z s-techs usually require for the spring mount mod/cut to get rid of the nose dive effect. With yours, it seems nicely balanced out already. I'm just hoping the GF210's has just enough stiffness to justify it's drop, to prevent bottoming out and premature wear on the oem shocks.

What works against that is the fact that your oem shocks are 3/4" taller then oem Z shocks. Additionally they are valved much softer because you don't have the 05+ sport suspension. With your shocks being taller, you'll get into the bumpstop sooner then if you had the correct shocks. Replace them with shocks ment for the Z and you'll gain bump travel and a improvement in ride quality, be it Tokico HP, revised oem Z shocks or Tokico D-specs.

Tanabe GF210's are NOT linear they are progressive front and rear. If you got your specs from Wiki, it's wrong. I tried to correct that one and some other mistakes, oh well.

Would have been a lot easier to simply cut and paste the specs from here
https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-...w-updates.html

Tanabe GF210 Series 350Z progressive springs 1”/1.2” drop on 350Z G35 drops will be higher
Spring rates in LBS 336/375 (only peak rates are published, softer initial progressive rates unknown)

Tein S-tech 350z (fronts are progressive, rears are linear) .7”/.6” drop on 350Z G35 drops will be higher
Spring rates in LBS 386/402 (estimated front intial rate is 327lbs)

^yeah I pulled those specs from an old post originated from 350z-tech.com. I never checked to see if it was updated or not.

Anyways, from your previous post, having revised 350z shocks, or the others mentioned, you think the GF210 would perform fairly well compared to the 350z stechs? And would you say that the 350z stechs would also require the revised 350z shocks as well?
