brembo brakes

hey guys i new on here and i was wondering what all has to be replace to put the brembo brakes on my 2007 g35 coupe?

O HELLA OEM 01-01-2010 08:03 PM

oem brembos are direct bolt on

When I did mine, I had to get different bolts for the rear calipers. The thread on the bolts would not thread the rear OEM Brembos.

do i need different rotors or can i use the stock ones?

You have to use 03-04 stock spec rotors for the brembos Not your 07 stock ones tho. And yes basically buy the 03-04 brembo calipers, rotors, brakelines, brakefluid, and the rear caliper bolts and your set to go. I think I have heard of people using their stock brakelines but its recommended that you replace them with some better stainless steal ones. Brakefluid has to be bled and replaced.

You can get aftermarket rotors that fit the Brembo spec. Centric makes a great set of high quality rotors that fit and are relatively cheap - around $70/rotor. Tire Rack and Rockauto.com sell them. Stoptech, Power Slot and others also make rotors to fit the Brembo system.

^ yep I got the Stoptech slotted one piece hat and rotor with black hats. Came out to $480 for all four.
