oem brembo's with Works

Hey, I have a set of Work VS-XX's and I am wondering if the factory brembo's will clear my wheels. Offsets: F +19 a-disk; R +17 O-disk thanks in advance

edit wait nevermind, not sure. Thought I read R disk front O disk rear .

im pretty sure your going to need R disk front to clear with out the use of a spacer

Luv2xcelR8 Feb 9, 2011 10:02 AM

Hmm...maybe I can run a 2mm spacer up front or something so that they will clear. The car is really low so the fronts are tucking at the moment but I guess I will need to raise it a bit with the front spacers so that I won't rub.

Are you talking about the rims Ravspec has for sale, i believe you will need a bigger spacer then 2mm to clear call Mark at Ravspec good people.

A disc up front = 15mm of space to clear brembos
R disc = bbk clearance

I know this for a fact because I measured them myself, well, at least on my T1S anyway. And T1S are more BBK friendly then the VS-XX's are. Just ask Fab.

I heard something about a T disc but not sure where that stands on the list.

I thought the "T" Disc was really BBK friendly. More so than the "R". I am assuming the "R" will clear Brembos without the use of a spacer.

Yes, R disc will clear brembos.

Luv2xcelR8 Feb 28, 2011 11:47 AM

I can't run a 15mm spacer on the fronts...they are already a +19 offset :52: fml

I just bought a set of VSXX and they DO NOT clear Brembos in the "R" Disc. I had to use a 5mm spacer to just clear them.
