cold weather Break replacement advice needed
Ive been checking the forums and havn't found too much on after market break pads that perform better in cold weather.
I have g35x '05 and need new pads after only 15k miles from OEM, and this is my second set after only putting 40k miles on the car. Mostly highway over the first two years and mostly back road travel in the last year. I am done with OEM and ive heard negative things about Hawks in cold weather. Anyone have experience with brands that perform better in colder temp for performance street style driving. I know a few people on here like project Mu breaks, any other brands that perform well for colder climates? |
Project Mu pads are good. I've been using Axxis pads for the past couple yrs and they've performed well in the winter

I use Hawk pads and they work great in the winter.

I should be more specific, 15 degrees F avg. in Jan. |
No worries it is usually in the mid to low 20's. We don't get the snow like you do, but it does get pretty cold.

what did you end up buying. I am in the same position as you

BRAKES, dammit, they are called BRAKES.
