Are BC's suppose to be so harsh in the rear?

I'm pretty low on my BC's, tucked tires all around, and my rears are pretty damn stiff and annoying. The fronts are perfect and tolerable but whenever I hit dips in my car my passengers and I fly up out of our seats when the rear rolls over.
I did the install myself and from what I remember they were on full stiff but I didn't realize until after that once I install them, I have to take the struts out to adjust them again. So I'm not 100% sure if the rear are matching in dampening.
I'm running the oem setup.
Is this just normal for the rears when they are on full stiff?

I don't really remember but when I had them at 15 clicks which is half I think the bounce was less but then again I drove around with it full stiff lol all the time. Why didn't you hook up the extenders?

I was in a rush to install the rears after the front and wasn't paying attention to the instructions.
I'm gonna mess around with the dampening and get that done.

If your gonna drop the shock to adjust the dampening might as well get the extenders in too. It's actually really simple. Only hard part is having to remove the rear deck to pull the extenders out although you might be able to get away without it. Just gotta use long needle nose pliers maybe n feel for it.

Well, that's not supposed to be where you put em..

Toy probably didn't install the rears correctly..

Possibly. It definitely doesn't feel normal. I'm gonna check them out soon and Update.

If it's the oem style rear, did you adjust the height first and them adjust the shock length??

Wow, after I read this I did a search and realized I adjusted the rear ride height wrong. Instead of lowering the spring to raise the car, I raised the shock itself, it did raise my car slightly but that must be why the ride is so harsh, the spring and shock height don't match at all. My spring is maxed out as low as possible.
What would be the correct method?
Looks like this is the problem.

Set ride height without shock in, then measure from lower shock mount to upper shock mount and adjust the shock to that measurement..

I have to physically take out the shock every time I want to adjust the ride height?
Why can't I just adjust the spring, measure it, then add the same to the shock while it's still in.

Lots of people seem to do this different ways but according to a rep you put car on stands, install all the shits with lower shock bolt not in, jack up spring bucket til theres slight tension & its not loosey goosey, adjust shock body so the holes match up with the spring bucket holes, jack up spring bucket 1/4 inch to set preload, readjust shock body to match spring bucket hole, bolt everything up & adjust height. So if you lower/raise the spring a 1/4 inch you would do the same to shock body to match.

Okay makes sense now.
That's kind of a pain in the *** to adjust the height compared to the front but its gotta be done.

Thanks. I would have been confused myself as I'm used to true style.

Where's the guy that had his coils installed still with the OEM springs?:icon11:
