DIY: Front brake pad change video tutorial

This is probably old news to most of you, but I thought it could be useful to some new members who haven't changed their brakes yet:

Hope someone finds this helpful!

Great video but I would recommend a metal or glass baster. Brake fluid is corrosive and will degrade/melt the plastic and I'd hate to get any plastic in my fluids.

Open the bleed valve on the caliper when compressing the piston and just replace the amount of fluid you lose when bleeding. You really shouldn't be forcing fluid backwards on a vehicle with ABS not to mention the fluid inside the caliper is usually fried due to heat and contamination.

Good point on opening up the bleeder valve. Fluid will be dirtiest near the caliper, and its also probably much easier to push fluid out of a cracked bleeder than it is to force fluid backwards through the ABS module and master cylinder.
