Bilstein B8s for 350z

Hey all im wondering if i made a goof up or not. Long story short im piecing together suspension setup for my 04 coupe so far im looking into getting the following;

https://www.z1motorsports.com/z1-pro...e-p-12166.html

and

https://www.tirerack.com/suspension/suspension.jsp?make=Bilstein&model=B8+Performance+ Plus+Shock&group=B8+HD+Shock&partNum=24-101561&autoMake=Infiniti&autoModel=G35+Coupe&autoY ear=2004&autoModClar=Performance+Wheel%2FTire+Pkg

and

https://eibach.com/us/i-2032-pro-kit...4-springs.html

(The setup is Bilstein B8s for 350z and Eibach Pro lowering srings for G if you dont want to check the links)
im looking for 1.5 inch max drop, my question is will i drop more than i want with this setup as the struts are shorter and for a 350z? will this setup work with the G/together?

correct me if i'm wrong, but I think it is the springs that are shorter for 350z models and not the shock body right? The eibach pro-kit is a very mild drop and paired with any aftermarket shock should get you roughly to the height you're shooting for after springs settle a bit. if you're really that dead set on having a 1.5" drop, you should have gotten height adjustable suspension like the Tein Basis Z which iirc is like $480.

i was under the impression the B8s are a half inch or inch shorter than the B6's which are stock length. The eibach pro kit says 1.1 inch drop. Im not looking for 1.5 exactly, i just didnt want it super slammed

Results of quick google search: https://g35driver.com/forums/wheels-...g35-sedan.html
it's talking about stock 350z struts but the Bilstiens for the 350z are the same spec so this applies.

My 2 cents, just use KYB struts for the G with the pro kit and spend the money you saved elsewhere in your suspension (bushings, swaybars, etc depending on what you have done). Either that or go straight to coilovers.

thanks for the advice but im already a little comitted now (drunken purchases) i just wanted to be sure im not slamming the **** out of my car even though ill be getting adjustable arms. I bought both B8 rear struts and pro kit for $355, I can get both fronts for $400 off amazon which is all i need

You'll be OK. that combination of shock and spring wont drop the car to the point of being slammed. You have a solid performing spring for street driving and imho one of the best street shocks (second to koni yellows only because I'm biased). Lots of folks from the bmw crowd love bilstein & h&r combos.
