BTW unless you're planning to track the car AND flush your fluid every oil change (and before or after every track day) I'd stick to regular high performance DOT4 street fluid. Race fluid has a higher boiling temp, but it also absorbs water at a much higher rate than street fluid, meaning it needs to be maintained more often. |
A little advice on the Z1 motorsport stuff, I don't know if you already used the loctite they sent with those components but I STRONGLY recommend not using it! Instead use Loctite 243 or 242. The stuff they send is the "permanent" loctite and the only way to get those nuts loose in the future is to use a torch to heat that loctite up to 500F to get it to melt.
And you DEFINITELY want to loctite those nuts on. |
