I need help asap plese!!. Why on earth I can't find factory coil springs replacement?
SubscribeHi everyone. I like to start by saying that I'm a GM guy and I currently own a 1997 Pontiac trans am as a toy car. Parts are everywhere and I just rebuilt the entire front / back suspension after 200k miles of used. Now, my daily driver (06g35 sedan rwd) front suspension needs to get fix. I bought quality shocks and mounts because I didn't wanna go with the cheap pre assembled front struts that are everywhere online. My question is, why on earth I can not find just the coil springs? I have looked in parts geek, summit racing, advance auto parts and other places to no avail

Are you looking for factory new OEM Nissan springs or are you looking for aftermarket?
I would just pick up a set of OEM used springs off eBay if you want the OEM ones. Your existing springs have color coded dots on them signifying which exact spring they are. Just verify they have the same color dot code and you're g2g.
Did you existing springs get damaged or something? They're not a wearable component like some vehicles (looking at you Jeep Liberty...), Japanese vehicle coil springs don't sag or lose the spring rate like the crap coil springs you find on American vehicles.

My front shocks are done for and the car bounces everywhere. If I'm gonna go with the trouble of taking them off I rather use new springs than keeping the old ones. All I want is factory coil springs and not even moog seems to have them!Originally Posted by cleric670
