If you can swap them on ramps vs on jack stands that would be advantageous. On ramps you'll have the suspension fully loaded and you can adjust the endlinks properly to where they have no preload (aka how they would actually be sitting on the ground). If you do it on jack stands it'll be a bit of a guessing game cuz the wheels hanging vs tires on the ground are two completely different geometries.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
If the car's on jack stands just jack the wheels up to where they would sit when on the ground and adjust the endlinks from there. Worked like a charm for me.

Same for me. Would've been easier with a four post lift of course though!

That's what I did, couldn't get the old links out without doing that anyway.

anyone know which other Sway bars fit with the TDX2 exhaust other then MD ones?

Apparently they discontinued the MD sway bars for the G35 coupe.

I called conceptzperformance about Hotchkis and they said they wont clear the TDX2.

Anyone knows for sure which aftermarket sways clear the TDX2?

thanks

I did my first AutoX event this past weekend with the Hotchkis front sway installed. Initial impressions are favorable. I ran this course last March, with a nearly identical layout (it was on a race track, so limited elements can be placed), and while I'm now on RE71s vs Indy 500s, I would say there is a very noticeable improvement with the front bar. The car felt much more planted in the slaloms, I felt that I could keep steady throttle through tighter turns vs lifting previously. Counter intuitively, I actually felt the car was less prone to understeer under heavy braking (haven't master trail braking yet). Also I felt more confident in changing directions at higher speeds, probably due in part to the reduced body roll.

AutoX is hard to compare since the tracks are hardly ever the same, but overall I would say the stiffer front bar made a significant improvement. I am currently running the softest setting, my next event is in two weeks, I'll move up one notch and see how that affects handling.

Suspension is Bilstein B6 shocks, but otherwise it's stock.

Stock rear sway? I was under the impression that the fix for the OE understeer was a stiffer rear sway bar, I could be wrong. Are you running the stock staggered setup or square?
Did you notice a difference coming from the Indy 500s? I bought them for the price and love them but they're also the only summer tires I've ever owned.

I also heard the same. The car is factory UNDERsteer based, so a bump up in stiffness on REAR from stock makes this more balanced. Keep stock front bar.
