KenChan & Teeter need your help PLEASE !!!

KenChan and Teeter or any experience wheel alignment experts, need your help and comments. I admit, I am not the expert

I just got an wheel alignment and the result are , I don't have the before results, just the actual.

Left Front:
Camber : - 1.09
Toe : 0.05

Right Front:
Camber : - 1.46
Toe : 0.06

Front Cross Camber : 0.37
Total Toe: 0.10

=======================

Left Rear:
Camber : - 0.63
Toe : 0.31

Right Rear:
Camber : - 0.85
Toe : 0.11

Rear Total Toe: 0.42
Thrust Angle : 0.10

=======================

The suspension setup I have is :

- Stillen Sway Bars Front and Rear set to Medium
- 350z D-Specs struts (DSP-9) Front and reat set to 4 turn from firmest
- 350z Tein H-tech springs
- Energy Suspension 3/8 Spacers for the rear (9.6101)

Wheels :
Front: 19 x 8.5 offset +38
Rear: 19 x 9.5 offset +45

Question:
Are these camber and toe settings correct for my set up on a 05 Sedan ?

I would like to be able to take turns without feeling floating or understeering.

Any suggestions and comments would be great.

Thanks

First, Kenchan is the expert - he and a couple of others counseled me through my suspension mods quite nicely. (Thanks!)

That said, the insight I can provide here is that your rear negative camber settings are pretty low. I had mine set to 2.2, and I believe Ken has bit more (2.6?). I had serious understeer issues prior to my mods - which are identical to yours - but afterwards I actually needed the extra rear neg camber to keep the backend from coming loose. I also had the front toe set to "0" to enhance turn-in. Now I'm fighting a tad bit of oversteer. This should be less of a problem for you since you're running 9.5" in back. (Hopefully, I'll be running wider in back soon as well.)

socal-oc - I replied to your PM.

i was more concerned about the difference in toe-in on the rear and
the thrust angle. the rear camber is kinda little for my taste, but that
depends on how you drive the car... meaning, if you're doing highway
miles mostly and want to get the most out of your tires, then that
might be a good setting.

if you drive like me, that tail will probably break too soon and will
prevent me from putting a heavier swaybar (or stiffer setting) to
improve vehicle posture through the turns). but you probably
rid most of the understeer by your front and rear camber settings
if your tires are gripping well.

btw, gsedan35 is the guy to talk to for sedans.

but just by looking at the alignment data, your sus needs to be
re-aligned for fundamental reasons even before we start talking about
dialing-in your setup.

Thumbs up

Thank you all. YOU ALL have been very helpful.

I have to admit wheel specs are confusing but good think to learn to better understand how the G rides and performs
