Anyone tried Project Mu brake pads on Brembo's?

Has anyone here tried the Project Mu B-Force brake pads?
http://performancenissanparts.com/ca...oducts_id=4820

How do they perform versus the OEM Brembo pads? Less dusting, squeeking?

How about compared with Hawk HPS?

I'm looking to get new brake pads soon, and I'd really like to get some pads that have the same initial brake quality as the OEM brembo's. Some aftermarket pads have less initial brake force, but are more resistant to fade. This is great for the track, but not for the street. I heard that the Hawk pads have less initial bite. Anyone care to share any experiences?

i love my project mu's, only downside is you need to warm them up a little before doing any kind of crazy stopping.

At least they are not like Hawk HPS. Its very scary driving with Hawks especially when you have to do an emergency stop. Those damn pads don't bite especially when they are cold.

As for Project Mu, I had B-Force pads and I loved them. I had no problems with B-Force pads when stoping. Even at cold. They were great pads. I have Endless Vita Nuova's now. Project Mu pads are on a back order from what I hear.

Here is a little review I did on the Project Mu B-Force pads at www.my350z.com. I also did some comparison with other pads I used before.

Project Mu pads

Thanks for the reply, ssk0771.

I read your review, looks like Project Mu B-Force it is! Hopefully they aren't still backordered.

I think Project Mu B-Force pads and NS are on back order until end of January.

I got my B-Forcre pads from www.projectnissan.com and they told me that they will get a shipment end of January.

One more thing. I had good luck with the pads and had very little issue with noise/squeak but there was another member who had a major issue so if you want to be on a safe side, try Project Mu NS pads. I heard good things about them and they are just 1 level down from B-Force. They are also less expensive.

I currently have Endless Vita Nuova pads because I could not find PMU B-Force pads and I like them too but they are little pricey.

Here is a little summary/update of Endless Vita Nuova pads so far just incase you might be interested.

PM replied. I got my Endless Pads from a Gripforce which is on Ebay. They happend to be near my house I stopped by. There are many places you can buy them.

also,

PM replied.

What type of pads are you look for and price? I also heard Project Mu NS pads are great too and they have no issue with Noise.

The only thing I did not like about the Endless is the price. They are little pricy. You might want to try Project Mu B-Force or NS.

I really liked my B-Force pads and luckly, I never really had any issues with Noise/Squeak.

Hope this helps.

Diesel1 has them for brembos.

Nice Puff, call me out like that!!! LOL

Yes I have the Project Mu NS pads for the brembos. Initial stopping is as good or better then the brembos. The NS pads run the same temp range as the stock with the exception they can tolerate a lil more heat over stock supposedly. BForce temp range starts a lil higher and ends way higher temp wise. BForce would probably be for more aggressive drivers who may track the car more frequently (Few times a year maybe).

Anyway, considerably less dust the Brembos and what little dust there is is silver not black so you barely notice after a full tank of gas unlike the brembos where if you drive 10 miles, you can already see the dust.

Squeeking, I had no squeeks for the first month or so. (NOTE: I never bedded my brakes properly). Now, if the car sits for an extended period of time, I will get squeeking in reverse only. After I have driven the car a bit (less then a mile) I don't get any squeeks in either direction.

Would I buy them again.....ABSOFRIGGINLUTELY!!! Won't even research other pads! Brando aka OLDVFRGUY on here has them as well! He listened well to my reco! LOL
