GTSPEC Bars fit on Sedan

Hey guys. I had called GT spec a few weeks ago and asked if their chassis braces would fit on a G35 sedan (they are spec'd for 350z/G35 coupe). Well, they sent me the 3 piece set and they all fit. Definitely stiffened the whole chassis structure, and the slight squeek I had in my dash is now gone.

Can you post some pics please? Thanks.

derres, did your G feel stiffer under normal driving conditions or just during spirited driving? Thanks for the feedback.

Overall the car feels stiffer. A good example is when you go over a speed bump diagonally, you usually feel the chassis twist, but with the new bars it is stiffer, especially in the front. I used to have a Subaru and I put chassis braces all over the thing. It makes the whole car more predictable, forcing your suspension and tires to do all of the work. With good tires, you will have alot more control over breaking the car loose and then bringing it back. Builds confidence, which allows you to go faster.

I am now in the process of making a rear strut tower and V brace.

The pics of the Sedan look exactly the same as the coupe (above), except there is a single exhaust. All of the chassis components are the same, so the installation is exactly the same process.

Dude...I think he wants to see YOUR actual picts on a SEDAN to prove that it does fit on a sedan...... How do we know this is for real and you're not posting this on behalf of GTSPEC? Just a thought...now go grab a camera! ;)

derres,
Are these the correct part numbers for the 3 bars you installed?

GTS-SUS-1053 (2 bars in this kit)
GTS-SUS-1088

Thanks again, I appreciate the information. Take care.

So much for the net weight loss from the pulleys and mid pipe coming off. Those things must be pretty heavy.
