Stock wheel paint

I have the stock wheels that come with the 04 6MT. I just got finished washing my car and I noticed my front wheels paint is rubbing away. WTF! Is this a common problem with the G's wheel paint? Is the a spray paint that I could use to touch up the wheel and match? Anyone else have this problem?

The only thing that can "rub away" the wheel POWDER COAT is hitting something. (curb, rock, etc.) Do you have curb rash? If not, then you have a defective POWDER COATING and you may want to take this up with the dealer.

Mine got scuffed but not just rubbed off, it is a powder coat I believe. You can mick up the brush on at advanced auto parts. I can't remeber the code but the guy at the store looked it up for me. Don't know if it comes in a spray version but I believe it is made Dupli-color

No I did not hit a curb or have any curb rash. The paint just looks like it is fading away.

No but I bought the car used. Maybe the previous owner damaged the wheels and did an EL Cheapo job repairing them. They don't look powder coated just painted. So I guess I am stuck taking them to a wheel repair shop to have them redone. I am so pissed:mad: I think there is a place around here that will do them for 75 a piece.

^^What about just replacing the wheels like with these!!

They are very affordable.
later--you could just buy your stock wheels from a forum member if you wish to return to stock later or for winter.
