Don't buy a salvage g35 coupe

As a matter of fact don't buy any salvage vehicle. This is regardless of how great its been fixed. YOU WILL NEVER GET MARKET PRICE FOR THE CAR WHEN YOU TRY TO SELL IT. Most importantly you are putting your life in danger as the next smallest hit could split your car in two.

I can't believe how many coupes I see for sale with frame damage or a salvage title going for 18 or 19k ridiculous.

Finally, use auto check instead of carfax for some reason carfax doesn't pick up frame damage. :thewave:

some minor damage can be easily fixed but most of the time if they are being sold as damage it's mainly due to some companies policies like totalling the car if the airbags were deployed and so on. I would only buy salvage if I can repair it myself and know exactly what was wrong with it. I've always said only buy salvage if you are the one that's fixing it, that way you know exactly what was wrong and what was done to fix it plus you get it cheaper like that and aren't paying retail for "fixed" car.

a salvaged car is like a girl with herpes... you can't go back to normal. the only way to try and sell a salvaged car is if it's complete show use only and for a sick deal.

I don't think its weird to educate members on the pains that come with purchasing a salvage vehicle. This is just educational. If you still want to buy a salvage vehicle go ahead and get :53:

I feel bad for anyone who didn't have a dad (mom's boyfriend regardless of divorce, masculine lesbian parent, etc.) kind enough to impart this piece of wisdom to their kids. If he/she/he-she did then it's your own fault for not listening and you deserve the "I told you so" you'll get later when they find out. :p

I tell people, dont buy salvage unless you're a mechanic that knows what he is potentially getting into.
