Can't stand the 03-05 coupe rear spoiler!
Not trying to "poke the bear" on this, but wow, that 03 - 05 coupe rear spoiler is heinous! I know a lot of guys like it, and that's fine. To each their own. To me ruins the clean styling of the G. It's a civicboi look on an otherwise gorgeous car. 'Nuff said.
Point being... I'm looking to buy a G35 coupe with the MT and I don't want to buy something and have to change the rear spoiler. So, from all I read, that means I am looking for a 2006. To finally get to my question... Any issues with an 06 versus older models? Any issues to be aware of with the 2006 in general? I don't really care enough about the Brembo's that I would miss them. Paint the stock 06 calipers and call it good as far as that goes. I just don't know enough about other differences between the 06 and earlier models. Do the MT 06 coupes typically come with telescoping / tilt steering wheels? That I want. Cheers. |

Just hoping I could get some additional info beyond that. I am definitely wanting to geek out over the details that differentiate the 03-05's and the 06's. Like additional info on interior differences, maintenance issues, known probs, etc. I have a 2007 Murano and love it. Want to stop driving it every day to work so I can keep the mileage down. Think a G would be a sweet daily driver + road trips when I'm not taking mountain bikes, 2 kayaks and camping gear. The Mu is for haulin toys. Had a 1991 300ZX and man was that a great cruiser. So comfortable, great styling etc. Seems like the G coupes capture the graceful lines better than the 350Z, at least IMHO. As I said, just looking for any input. Thanks. |
if you dont like the spoiler then buy a g without a spoiler.. lol pretty simple solution.
