Looking at buying a used G35 coupe. I have a couple questions.
After selling my car to help a friend with medical bills, I've saved up 10k towards a car. A few Google searches said the 2004 g35 coupe is a great purchase for $10k, which is why I'm here. Is there anything I should know before buying one? Anything I should look out for if I go to look at one? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Get an 06-07. Save more than 10k bcus the more u spend will mean less miles and most likely less problems. You'll thank me when u only have 80k miles on the car after a year of driving instead of 180k.

Well what are you looking to get out of a car? Do you plan on DDing it? Will two doors be practical enough? Is the RWD coupe fine for where you live (snow) My 04 coupe has been great to me. No problems at all. But yet again, I don't daily it. There's an elderly lady that lives around me that has an 03 coupe and drives it year round, even in blizzards here in Buffalo.

I've found a few with 90k miles, that are an 04 for 10-11k. It is just a temporary car whIle I save for my A5, so 10k is my budget and I'm not willing to spend more on a car I'm going to have for 5 - 6 months.

Are there any issues I should look for or know about before proceeding with looking at them? |

My Coupe
I recently bought a coupe for about $8200. I'm 19 and going to keep it a long while.
I personally think it was a fair deal. Its an 05 Diamond Graphite 5AT. I love it, the interior was perfect just that leather tear we all get. The body and paint was fine. But the down side was, that it had 157K at the time of purchase. Here in California there are alot for sale on CL but some people want like 8k for a salvage title with idiotic kits and mis-matching parts. Keep looking, you can get an 05 or higher for 10k or less. I think this is a great car. Ive driven, a-lot of V6 cars and the G is by far the best. |
Wtf? Why would you spend $10k on a very temporary car? All cars are fun to drive in their own way. Even my friends dads 84 Mitsubishi mighty max was a blast. The humor alone would last 6 months. Don't be retarded.
