Should I Sell?

Anyone else ever get a gut feeling they have major problems coming up that may just not be worth it?

I have an 07 G35x with 109k miles on it. I've sunk about 3k into it in mods and bs (not including maintenance). It has a clean title, minor dings for body damage but has been driven hard. I wont waste time and just say how much would yall list/ask for it? Its slate grey (dont recall the exact name for color), and AT with basic b**** mods and a tune.

All advice and shade is more or less helpful :9:

I think you should sell the grill, get a better looking one and keep the car!

If you're not happy with the car then sell it and move on to something you like. But 109K miles is really just middle age for these cars and unless you're unhappy with the car and want something else you'll be hard pressed to find a better value for the money in regards to performance, handling, luxury and reliability than your G. Maybe move up to a newer G37 sedan, one with a manual tranny???

Aye thanks for the feedback BlueDream. I love my G, overall! A beast in the snow, fast, agile enough with suspension, etc. I do get a feeling that I have a tranny problem coming up along with both front CVs for sure! I only ask because I've been pushing this car very often.

On another note and recommendations on grilles??

The tranny is the only big reason why I would sell this, as the ATs don't seem to be as reliable in the long term as the MTs, which might grind gears but will generall work forever. Looks clean, and a good time to sell with relatively low miles and (I'm assuming) still properly functioning stock suspension. If you keep it, expect to have to replace everything rubber like suspension bushings, engine/trans mounts. Your engine should be good past 200k as long as you keep changing the oil and correcting codes as they come no matter how you drive it.

I see two choices, keep what you have only get it painted to match and include a Infiniti emblem which will help how it currently looks! Or, find/install a factory grille! Concerned about your trans, when was the last time you did a drain-m-fill? Living in a hot climate I have my trans serviced once a year, good insurance! Make the changes, drive this beautiful (after you paint the grille) and enjoy her!
