It's simple Geography.

A lot of folks can't understand how we

came to have an oil shortage here in Canada

Well, there's a very simple answer.

Nobody bothered to check the oil.

We just didn't know we were getting low .

The reason for that is purely

geographical.
Our OIL is located in Alberta, Newfoundland, Saskatchewan, and B.C.

Our DIPSTICKS are located in OTTAWA .....:)

Colin.

It'sgoooooood (Bruce Almighty)

You think that's goofy, riddle me this one, Batman...I live in Calgary, I go to Ottawa last year on business and gas is 10 cents a litre cheaper! I guess it's all about supply and command (Ricky from TPB's)

Hmm, what's with me and the quotes tonight? Better than talking to myself I guess.

I hear ya. My city is home to Canada's largest oil refinery, yet our gas prices are consistently some of the highest prices in the country. Go figure.

LOL, it's easier to hate politicians. They should be working for us. I expect them to measure up to high standards. Oil Co.'s work for profit for themselves and their shareholders. When they drive us home there should be no surprise as to what they want at the end of the day.
