Sales is sales and will vary widely dealer to dealer; sales rep to sales rep......
given time & their recent sales success.

If a sales rep has made a few sales recently.....
he may have given someone else a kick a$$ deal last week;
but if he doesn't NEED you're sale this week, he'll push for extra margin on the deal.

- ^same applies at the dealer level, if they have to move units to reach target volumes

In other words....
Recommendations here are essentially worthless when it comes to landing the best $$$ deal.
You need to get out there & work the system.

^+1. There are a lot of factors and not a lot of consistency on pricing. You really need to do your own homework.

A friend and I bought 2-07 Camry's last year together, so we had some buying power. My buddy sent quote requests to every dealer in the GTA, probably near 20 in all. I said originally that I expected very little feedback and would you know we actually got quotes back from 80-90% of them. Now they weren't all good quotes but in the end we had 4 contenders. We simply called up the best priced offer and ordered both vehicles. "No fuss no muss" as the price was rock bottom so no haggling required and quite a painless buying experience.

This deal probably took a few weeks to happen but the "Homework" was definitely worth it in the end. Since then we have bought two more Toyotas from the same salesman, both rock bottom price as we now have a relationship.

I plan to do the same thing next spring when my lease is up. My friend leases a 330 right now and we'll be shopping together.

Care to share what was so bad about them, Zed? I've been using them for 3 years now for my 10-year-old G20t and have had nothing but good experiences there, especially with the service rep Richard. I just bought a G35 and haven't used their services under the warranty yet, though...

No reply to email inquiries, very unprofessional over-the-phone interaction from multiple service staff, lack of urgency when picking my car up, my car stored in a gravel/dirt parking lot, a service centre waiting area that is worse than most gas-stations... that's all I care to recall.

They have a new service manager now and I hear they are building a proper service centre this fall/winter, so I'm going to give them a third (and last) chance for my next service.

I noticed some post referring you to 401Dixie and I would concur with them. I bought mine from there and got a relatively good deal. BUT be aware that they are complete a$$holes! (just my humble opinion) Get your deal from them and get the f*ck out of there and only take your G to Oakville Infiniti!!!!!

I agree. My first (and final) experience dealing with the 401 Dixie service department was not confidence-inspiring.
