Does it seem like no Canadians Mod their G's
I have spent the last year working on my G35 coupe.
I am in calgary and have had a hard time finding local people to work on my car. Little support and wih out this forum I would be Up Sh*t creek.
I never see any parts on the canadian market place?
Not may threads out there on builds etc.
So post up your Mod list and what shops you have found capiable of working on the G.

I have an extensive list of mods on my G. Here is the HUGE list.......
35% 3M Tint
Bat's GTR Headlight Overlays.
Phew, that hurt the fingers from typing them all out.
In all seriousness though, I am not much of a mod guy myself. My G is my only vehicle so for me it's hard to justify modding my G, especially when I am carting around a nine month old baby in the back seat.
But there are a number of Canadian members here that mod their G35s.
Btw, I'd love to see some pics of your G if you have some.

I just started mods this past spring so I have a few things: all work done by Lightspeed Innovations in RedDeer or myself.
Engine:
Skunk II Intake spacer
JWT TT kit
Exhaust:
Fast Intentions test pipes
Stillen 2 1/2" true dual
Electronics:
Pioneer Z2 DVD/Navigation
Innovative wideband
Split second box
Nismo Gauge cluster
Exterior:
Replica Nismo bumper
2006 headlights
Replica Giallia grill (fitment sucks)
Volk GT-S wheels
and a Stillen short throw shifter with a Tommy Kiaria shift ****.
I know you have all seen them before but since I learned how to post pictures I keep posting.
I would like to see pictures of Sinisters car please and who built your engine? I dont know about Canadians in general not modding but Albertans with modded Gs is fairly rare from what I have seen.

Ahh, good, I was hoping Gord (Sylvan Lake V35) would post up, saw his car a week ago Saturday and it is swee-eet. He even let me start it . Too bad you didn't make it out, Luke, we'd have liked to see you.
Anyway, like some of the others, I just don't have the time and bucks to mod, plus my G is a daily driver so I can't afford any reliability issues that sometimes come with extensive mods. All that said, I wouldn't throwing on at least a spacer and some sways. I may get around to that in the spring, we'll see.

Yea, major issue is finding a reputable shop to do the work here in Calgary. There's nobody that I really trust to do the major work. A lot of the places just seem too shady despite their reputation on other forums. Yea, I'd take my Civic or Neon there but the sketchiness factor comes in when I'm bringing my g.
I haven't been to Tunerworks in ages! The last time I was there the botched my exhaust install...and it was on a civic...how hard could it be?! Then again, that WAS like 6 years ago. Maybe I should give them another chance.
I'm getting prepped for the Vortech in the summer. Trying to actually source out a shop in Washington to do the work. Only 1100km drive to a shop that has been installing Superchargers since 1975. :-D Road trip baby, road trip!
I just got my RacingBrake BBK's installed. Black calipers, looks like stock...just the way I like it.
Working on a custom dual-dual tip (quad tip I guess?) exhaust. Found some nice cannisters that are super thin so going to try to build a heatshield below the fuel vaporizer to allow the new cannister on the passenger side.
Getting all the stuff done in the summer as right now the g's fully winterized for our fine weather here. Raised back on stock springs and winter tires on stock 17's. Looks like any other base G on the block...keeps the boys in blue at bay. ;-)
