Did you feel safer knowing he was behind you? Personally, I like to leave the idiots/drunks a great many car lengths in front of me so that I have plenty of time to react if something does happen. You never know what they'll do when you're in the middle of passing them and you don't have to worry about them rear ending you further down the road.

I posted my encounter with an idiot driver a couple months ago.
In case you missed it here it is Nightmare on the Highway
Since that happened, I noticed his van at a compound where it was towed (it was wrote off).. I found out this dude was pulled out of the ditch by the same tow truck driver 4 hours earlier than my encounter with him. So he had been driving like a dickweed all of that day. I hope he is nailed to the wall on his court day, and I will be there .
