Turbo G35's, who has one etc...?
 

Eh guys, just want to see who has turbo'd there G's and who installed it for you, cost etc... I know there are probably a lot of people interested in this... I am almost a 100% sure I am going to turbo mine this year... I can't decide if I am going to do it myself or get a shop to do it...

have a qualified shop do it for you. NO ONE HAS done a completely flawless installation without some problem they've run into or caused. The price will depend on your kit and the hours recommended for installation. Expect around 2k for a TT kit and a little over a grand for a single turbo kit.

HollywoodG35 and SammyJL are from the GTA area and they both have TT

I agree about 1k for a single and 2k for a twin install and it is not easy so I would take it to a shop if you do not feel comfortable

Ya I agree with you guys, I am good with cars... I have rebuilt engines etc and there is always a pain in the *** along the way...lol... Thats why I would rather have someone install it that has done 1 or 2 on a G35 or 350z...

Guys, just started researching th STS turbo kit... WOW, it is sweet... I found it a long time ago and thought the kit was a joke... Now I spent the time looking into it and it is sick... Does anyone know any dealers selling them up here and how much...?

I know Lightspeed Innovations in Alberta (I know you are in GTA) is an athorized STS dealer and they usually have good prices if you cant find another Canadian distributor. There website is not that good but email them: sales@lightspeedinnovations.com or call Jeff @ 403-346-7960.

I have seen several STS kits they have done on trucks and it looks like they are high quality kits. They will try to push you to a Jim Wolf Twin Turbo kit but since you are in GTA they wouldnt work as Jim Wolf kits have to be installed by the shop that sells it.

I have a Jim Wolf TT kit I would estimate (I cant remember exactly)it cost about $3500 to install that is more reasonable for Canada the US they may do it for $2000 but not likely here. An STS or Turbonetics single turbo kit may be cheaper to install but I would estimate TTs around $3000-3500ish for install. Hope that helps you.

Thanks man, ya there is a shop here that will sell me the kit for ruffly 6700 US plus tax/broker fees... Then the install was 1500... The install price is good, but the kit is to much because the american dollar is to high etc... thanks for the info, I will look into it...
