Anybody drive their lowered G35's in the winter?

Hey everybody,

As the title says, does anybody still drive thier lowered G35's during winter? I'm asking cause I made the mistake of driving my lowered G35 (first winter lowered) yesterday afternoon during a winter storm in Ottawa. Stupid me...it totatlly slipped my mind that I would become a snow plow. Needless to say I got stuck, had to get help to push and leave it at an underground hotel parking lot. I'm going to go get the car this morning with some co-workers and try to get the car home. I live and work downtown, I drive the car about once a week during the winter. But besides that, any tips or stories or suggestions? (I know don't drive it during storms) I do have a set of winter tires on the car right now. 2nd winter with them.

Thanks in advance

avoid storms and streets that are not plowed yet. don't drive your G at all. you can put back your stock springs. other than that there is not much you can do

I was at a week end car show (Poweramma) in the spring and a got stuck in a huge snow storm. Every tow truck in the city was booked so I had no choice but to drive it to a friends house and leave it till the snow melted. I plowed snow the whole way, I would get snow flying up from my bumper over my hood. That is the only time and it sucked I never had any damadge just lots of stress.

I would love to drop mine even a little bit, but that can never happen. I have an X that scrapes now on our ice and snow covered highways in my area. It has snowed here every day for at least a couple of weeks and it would be impossible to run a dropped car where I live.

I drive mine with Eibach Prokit and Tokico D-specs, second winter with this setup, haven't had any major issues...BTW, mines is a daily driver...

I drive my car on Z suspension and I never have a problem, most of the time when I go out on the road they are already plowed so its not a problem.

I'm lowered on Eibach pro's. Never had an issue to date.

She's a daily driver too...

Mine gets driven 3 to 4 days in 2 weeks....I guess you can say I semi store my G:rolleyes: Mine is lowered but it doesn't see any storms so I'm getting by, just try to avoid side roads or going out in a storm.....or just drive backwards:bowrofl:

Raise my car on basics, also go sleeves around my coils as well

This might be the first and last time i will be driving my G for winter.
Since i'm picking up during the winter times.

I drive mine, im lowered on BC coilovers. I did raise the car up a bit but the coilovers will only let me go so high. So far no issues

I drive lower all year round, can't really stand the stock height. Will be taking the G up to HorseShoe and BlueMountain when I get my snowboard attachment for my roofrack. It is ready to carve through the snow.
I usually clean the car before I take a pic, but meh whatever :)
