What's up with M-B in the GTA lately?

Is it just me or has a bazzilion 'C' series hit the streets this summer.
...same goes for the 'B' SUV

WTH, are they giving these things away or what:dunno: .... they're everywhere. :confused2:

STCLAIRWEST Sep 16, 2009 03:52 PM

I thought I was the only one that noticed

InTgr8r Sep 16, 2009 03:55 PM

Yeah... it's nuts.
& do you notice that 90% of them are white as well?

Sacch Sep 16, 2009 04:14 PM

LOL I honestly see one every two mins walking down bay street, and yea most are the white c250 models. A 35,800.00 base price is not bad, its a nice looking car, especially with the black roofs.

Hossmaxima Sep 16, 2009 04:30 PM

Ya I have been noticing a lot of 3 series as well as C300.

No surprise here as the the new(ish) MB C-class is easily the most refined out of entry-luxury class of vehicles. If you don't care for 0-60 times, I am fairly certain the car would #1 on a lot of peopels list when looking for a car in that segment.

blaccG35 Sep 16, 2009 04:32 PM

hahahah i always notice this also....u always see black or white C series alot of the time

InTgr8r Sep 16, 2009 04:34 PM

There must be some kick azz leases on these things, if they use traditional M-B residuals in the calc.

STCLAIRWEST Sep 16, 2009 04:55 PM

^ Im pretty sure thats the reason why so much people are getting them

My neighbor just bought a c350 and guess what color...white w/ black roof really nice car he paid $60 w/ AMG package

but I don't know if I would pay that much since its played out (another one 5 houses down and yup white on black)

Funny you mention it. I actually see of of both of those around here now too. Before they were non existent.

Yeah there are tons, I think a big part of it is the fresh design. It does look attractive but I'm not sure how long the love would last for me.... some designs kind of start to wear off on you after the initial "wow".

Also, when you look at A4 and 3 series... I don't know the starting price of the 3 series but it doesn't have much of a "wow" factor in terms of the look and not much has changed in terms of design over the years. The A4 does look nice in a way but the starting price is quite a bit more than the C class and it's a front wheel drive car :(

I've heard that the M-B monthly leases were pretty low with the buyout being quite high at the end, so if that's still the case then it could be another reason for seeing quite a few of them.

I probably will test drive the C class just for the heck of it.

I recall when the G35 came out it also felt like you saw so many of them... I don't know where they all went once the leases expired, it seems there are less now then before.
