I figured this might be a fun and interesting thread to post up some Canadian talent in all aspects of life. So list up who you think is Canada's best for whatever industry/job. I'll start. Of course, these are just personal opinions.

* Canada's best guitarist - Jesse Cook
* Canada's best funny guy(s) - Jim Carey/John Candy/Howie Mandell/Leslie Neilsen
* Canada's hottest woman - Evangaline Lilly/Estella Warren/Emmanuelle Chriqui (sorry, couldn't decide)
* Canada's best stereotype - A peaceful, friendly nation
* Canada's best made beverage - Beer
* Canada's best band - Rush/The Tragically Hip

* Canada's best made beverage - Beer
* Canada's best band - Rush/The Tragically Hip (hard to argue either one)
* Canada's best invention - The Robertson screwdriver (LOL, maybe insulin)

* Canada's best made beverage - Beer
* Canada's best band - Blue Rodeo/Rush/The Tragically Hip
* Canada's most scenic province - Newfoundland

I did consider Lifeson and Cuthbert (disqualified for dating Sean Avery AND Dion Phaneuf...What the Puck-Bunny?). I also like Blue Rodeo a lot.

The telephone would also rank up there as Canada's best invention. :)
