Corner balancing.....

For those of you in the GTA on coils, have you considered corner balancing the car?

Reason for asking is, I'm considering the purchase of a set of car scales.
I'm primarily looking at them for my own use, since I play around with set up so much.

I also wouldn't mind offsetting a little the investment cost if there was any interest.
Just curious :)

I think corner balancing is a good investment.

I'm getting my coils put on next week and I'm having my wheels corner balanced. I'm just not sure if I need to wait until the coils settle or does it really not matter.

i installed and adjusted them myself so im sure corner balancing would be a plus lol. How far are you from brampton

Corner balancing is primarily for handling performance.
If your primary concern is stance, then you might not want to do it.

Basically, you set the heights where you want them, then corner balance from there.
You tweak the height a bit based on the scales to get your corner to corner weights close to 50/50.

If you don't mind sharing; where & how much?

Sasha from SG-Motorsport does it for $100 an Hour....usually it doesn't take longer than that

Ed from Advanced PowerHouse (APH) Does it for $80 an Hour and $20 for 15 minutes after that. Again, it shouldn't take more than an hour.

So I do not know if it is worth it for you to buy the scales

Thanks.
Some BMW shops are charging $450, which I thought was insane for what it is.

it would helps primarily getting equal heights all aroundd

That is absolutely ridiculous.....$450? Well I guess as long as there are suckers to pay, they will keep charging those prices.

SG-Motorsport and APH are both very reputable shops when it comes to Gs and Zs.

+1 on sg

I've see Sasha at the track, sounds like the best option to me.

Yeah, he's a beast on the track...he's also a really nice guy.

If you go to him tell him Matthew with the 350z sent you
