What's wrong with Canadian retailers

This topic was beaten over and over-but here ot goes again.
Are canadian retailers still in 2001? It is ~96 per 1 usd! And I do not want to hear usual song and dance about "freight and duties" from US!

With all my spring spending -tires, brakes etc-I didn't buy a single item from Canada.
Final insult-Wilwood brake pads from Alberta $140CAD +taxes + shipping and 3week wait. Same thing from Jegs-$140 USD shipped same day, including taxes and duties.(Cost is US $84/set)
I saved $400 on my tires by ordering them from DTD and picking them up at UPS store in Lewiston.

I do not want to hear about higher cost/taxes-I am an accountant and worked with dozens of small to mid sized companies in GTA....Canadian companies should really pull heads out of their asses and start using their brains instead of trying to ride the exchange wave which is loooong gone.
For now my buck goes south of the border.

the thing they pull all the time is : "america is a huge market with lot of buyers, Canada is unfortunately too small so we have to screw them with higher prices" which is Bs, im going to penslyvania this summer and gonna get tons of stuff (car stuff and others) no additional tax there :)
