I saw the same TV show Deane talked of comparing muscle cars of the late '60's early '70's . Seems to me the 'Boss-9' won by a whisker over the Hemi Cuda, and LS-7 Chevelle.

Yes you're right in the total points category but it blew the others off in acceleration especially in the 0-60 with a 5.0 flat and the next best was about 5.7 from my memory. All were wildly hampered by traction of course. I was surprised the hemi and the ls-7 were not stronger.

We should definitely do that this summer, we could have an O.F. Club tour and perhaps some of the young-uns could tag along too
And yes we would take pics Shane.

I would love to go there myself. I just need to figure out how I could work that out. years ago I was in an incredible car museum somewhere in New England that had an enormous variety of cars. I wish I could remember where that was so I could return.
I plan to be in Toronto sometime early to mid June so maybe I could work that out with you guys.

That what be great Deane, we could definitely work something out. Especially now that GSM is not going out east for a little while. Let us guys know when you have some finalized dates.

Guys I posted some stuff on another thread in response to Colin. I'm waiting for confirmation on my plans which would take me to Denver for about 10-12 days and then back to Toronto for a week. If this all works out I may be be able to drive the G up to TO, leave for Denver if I can find a place to leave G in Toronto and then drive back...Or maybe I'll just fly. Ooops that would be the same thing though in the G.

I should know on my trip for sure early next week.

Excellent Deane , keep us posted. I will be in England for a few weeks in May , but if this is happening in June it's a go for me. It's easy for time off if it happens through the week too when you are retired like myself and a couple of others, and also the ones that can sneak away for a few hours( ).
It does sound like the start of another mini meet, eh Ian.

Sounds good Wayne. Yes being retired has it's benefits. I've been sort of retired for the past 7 months and now I'm itchy to be a little busier with something.

Very spirited rides.

I must say the LMC offer of the Dodge Charger RT Hemi is tempting tho.
Well, it's not listed as for sale, but the 65 Shelby GT350 on the home page would be my #1
#2 I'd have to say the '34 Ford Coupe, that looks cool!
#3 I'd have to pick the '64 Vette "Tanker", I don't think it was really an Z06
though, I don't think that designation existed then! Now, if there was one available, I'd have to pick the '68 GT500, damn sweet car! Damn You have really had some rides, I'm surpirised you ever had enough money left to buy the M!

Why all the past tense?

Like many of us Shane, a lot of our favourites are long gone now. There are a few tho, that I wish were in the present.
