watch out for people who don't care ****

Just some reminder for you guys..

beware of those SOB who swing their parked cars' door open without watching out for any car that are passing beside them...

Today, when I was going east on Wellseley, which was a two lanes road with an extra wide right lane s.t. it is wide enough for parked cars and passing cars at the same time. However, when I was passing those parked cars.. one guy just ****ing swinged his door open as if he doesnt have to watch for passing cars at all.. I swerved and avoided him....but it could have been that he lost his door...

people nowadays should learn to drive and becareful of BOTH their own and others' properties

:O

Glad you're ok godmans. Wellseley (actually, every TO street like that) is brutal. Bathurst is pretty notorious for that stuff. Definitely have to keep your eyes on the road!

dang thank god it didnt hit the G... screw his door thats his own fault... times like that just make me want to go out and get a 2500HD with a duramax, 8 inch CST lift.. 35" tires and a freakin steel front bumper and if you hit my truck your fault... cause nothing will happen to my car... but your car would be screwed

Well, even if you did hit his door its still would have been his LAME A:S:S fault anyway and he would have been charged for the accident. Good thing you had fast reflexive actions to avoid it. But if you didn't well thats another story.

Having met EEYORE I can honestly say I wouldn't want to have been the guy opening the door! :p

Glad you didn't hit the door, Godmans. Some peeps just don't think b4 doing something, so it's good to watch out very closely.
Defensive driving these days is so important. Kudos for watching out, man.https://g35driver.com/forums/images/icons/icon14.gif

Years ago in High school, a buddy hit an old man as he got out of the car without looking. He kept on going ( frightened etc.). His dad took him to the police station and while he got grief for leaving the scene the death of the old man was ruled accidental and not his fault.
Gotta becareful out there.

Every time I see a car on the side of the road I always ride my left wheels on the lane lines ... usually put my blinker on as if I was switching lanes too, just so nobody gets next to me.
