What is a Good Wax that is cheap and isn't a lot of Work?

I tried Zaino and it turned great, but I want an ordinary wax that doesnt need a bunch of coats, is a decent price, and looks good. Also what kind of soap do you use to wash your car? Please recommend some good products. Thanks in advance.

good cheap soap is gold class from costco or target in bulk.
zaino is worth the time since it lasts much longer than the other stuff. For ease of use, I'd go with optimum car wax, it is spray on and if you do it everytime you wash, it will look nice

s100 from the Harley Davidson stores. It is nearly identical to P21s which costs like 20 more. S100 is 15.00 at your local HD store.

Good wax is not necessarily cheap wax. I use a 100% carnauba wax, and find it is easy on/easy off.

Cheap..................?

How about what I used to use.....Zymol liquid cleaner
and wax. This comes in a blue container and is easy
to use.....you'll still need a good applicator and I
would use micro-towels to wipe off......I used this
cleaner/wax for years on my Z with good results!
And it's only $18!!

search on autopia.org. They have more than enough info on waxes/polishes/sealants and anything else detailing related.

as far as wax goes, s100 is good stuff. Now if you want to talk polish, turtle wax "ice" has to be the best stuff ive ever used, goes on easy, comes off easy with no mess. :)

Car Wash Soap: Meguires Crystal Gard or Gold Class is my fav...

Wax: P21S( same as S100 as mentioned before), its a very clear wax and it looks great on a dark car.

Here are a couple pics of recent detailing jobs I've done. Used S100 as my LSP on both. Notice the depth and wetness on the black.

Crap I've used a plethora of products. The latest new wonder is around $5-6 @ Walfart. It is put out by Dupont. It is their Teflon Wax. Give it a try. Apply it with your bare hand or with an applicator. A very easy off.

If you're thinking topping additional coats of this remember it's a cleaner, so it'll remove whatever was previously on the clearcoat.

For a decent, great looking paste wax that has wetness and depth, take a look at Poorboy's Natty's Paste Wax (the Blue version for darker colors). http://www.poorboysworld.com

Another nod for P21s carnuba wax. I apply the P21s after I apply the Klasse twins. Once a month with the P21s and you are good to go. :p
