Two questions

First do any of you guys(or girls ) use the california duster on a black car, and how does it work out?

Second, I have some small stains on my rims that I can't seem to get off. Any suggestions?

Re: Two questions

I use my Cali duster every morning. This is my first black car and I was amazed how quickly it became brown from all the dust. The duster works wonders, it only takes a few minutes and my car looks great (as long as it doesn’t rain). I would definitely recommend it, just remember to do it every day! Sorry, I can’t help you with the rims, but I’m sure someone else here can.

Re: Two questions

So you've not had any problems with the Cali duster scratching a black car?

Re: Two questions

I use the Cali duster on my black car too. I use CG, so pushing dust around on it won't scratch it, and it glides over the surface almost too easily. Do it every morning, and it'll take a minute out of your day for your car to look brand new. So far, no scratches. Just make sure the duster is put back into its protective holder (to keep anything from settling on it, and keep it from touching the ground), and don't use it to remove waterspots from the rain.

Re: Two questions

Not that I’ve noticed. I always run the duster in the same direction so I assume if it was scratching my paint I would be able to tell. I won’t lie to you though, my G does have swirl marks. They’re from in the beginning, when I didn’t use a freshly washed towel to dry my car. I’d use the old, crusty one from the week prior. Back before I found this site I did some dumb things!
