Money on detailing supplie's
I was just wondering of how much you people with G35's have spend on detailing supplie for your G35 and/or other cars.
Me, I have spent almost up to 2 g's on detailing stuff. From chemicals to polisher |
I'm somewhere in the $500 range for everything I would guess. UDM, chemicals, and supplies.
|
I'm about $4-500 in, what'd you spend $2k on?
|
i'm pretty cheap bout 100 bucks or so.. more on the microfiber towels.. haha i don't have the dedication it takes for polishing/waxing all that crap even though i know i should..

When I first started detailing before Detailed Image, I invested about $900 then soon after picked up a rotary which brought the total closer to $1200. I have a few customers that have spent more than that on just a single jar of wax!
Regardless how much is spent on products, it's more important to learn about the proper process and techniques than to keep putting money into new products. Once you understand the process and your techniques are refined, it's very fun to try new products. I think most detailers eventually settle into their "favorites" but I still find it enjoyable trying new products out. George |
Wow not many people detail there G35. lol
|
about 2G's. www.griotsgarage.com and www.detailersparadise.com are happy.

I'm about $400-500 in just since getting my G in July...and happy to spend it every time I walk up to my car. Honestly I would assume that misapplication is where a lot of it goes in using too much, too often, and at the wrong times. I'm no detailer, I just like having my car sparkle. Like George said though, I always like trying somethign a little new as well so that cost is constantly increasing.

George I used to have a hard time getting the menzerna lineup to properly break down with a pc/udm.With the flex it breaks down perfectly and brings back a shine and clarity that the pc/udm cant touch. Oh and btw when people see what this machine can do the pc/udm will be a thing of the past.Good luck george cause you better get a lot of them.:) |
