What's the best way to clean re-surfaced polished lips..

I have some volks and there's waterspots on the lips that are really hard to get out by towel. They've been stripped and resurfaced before so I believe I can use solvents or a metal polisher, but don't want to take a risk unless I know for sure.

You can use P21s wheel cleaner.

just use soap water wax or glass cleaner for a little extra kick

Glass cleaner is good for chrome rims. Also you use it for light dusting.

A good metal polish and some MF towels along with a couple hours of work will do the job if they are bare aluminum as you claim
