Wheel cleaners......???

Any suggestions for spray cleaners? My dealer suggests P21S and a good spray wash after. I usually just wash the wheels while I do the car, but there is always a bit of brake dust that seems to collect and is very difficult to remove from the corners and requires mucho elbow grease and then I still can't get it all off.
I have the stock 17's and don't want to harm them in any way.
thanx!!

Eagle Ones' A to Z. It works great, safe for all finishes, cheaper than P21. DO NOT USE SIMPLE GREEN. That $hit will melt the clearcoat off.

Yeah Eagle 1 A-Z in the orange bottle is good, as is Mother's Wheel Mist (yellow bottle).

I have not tried anything else in a long time. Thanks for the second choice. I sometimes can't get Eagle 1

Concur with the eagle-ones. It did an excellent job of cleaning the brake-dusted wheels....that I almost forgot what color they were originally until I cleaned it off.

Re: Wheel cleaners......???

WOW - what a difference!!! All these years I've been scrubbing by hand, and this stuff works in 30 seconds! Cool.
Even got the brown gunk off the tires. I am amazed how much stuff washed away. Got a small wheel brush too and it helped to get the last bit of dust out of the corners.
Neat stuff - thanks guys!!
now to hit the tires with Meguires Endurance and I'm ready for the next snowstorm predicted for Wednesday (

Wow. 5 pages of suckers before they locked the thread. It stops being entertaining after about a page and a half.

I'm sure Pestilence can agree that Armour All or no, all you have to do is turn off the traction control when it's wet out. Pesti, didn't you even have the same kind of tires? Maybe you should complain to the NTB about your damages....

Re: Wheel cleaners......???

I would rather use a small sponge, like a kitchen sponge. A brush may scratch your clearcoat wheel finish. Also, apply a coat of Mother's Clearcoat Wheel Polish. It will make your wheels look great and help keep the brake dust from sticking to the wheels. Makes cleanup easier!
