Clear bra & waxing
Clear bra & waxing
My (diamond graphite) coupe came with a clear bra. I want to spend a weekend preping (clay) and waxing (the Zaino 5-step process). The dealer said that wax wont hurt the clear bra.
1. How or what are you guys using on your clear bra (if anything)?
2. If I do the paint and leave the bra alone how will it look?
Bottom line, how should I care for the bra & paint?

Re: Clear bra & waxing
i have a clear bra...and you should just wax it and prep it like the actual paint
but if you dont wax the clear bra...you wont notice a difference either..
my question is how do u get rid of swirls on the clear bra.
can you use the porter cable on it ????? somehow i doubt it.

Re: Clear bra & waxing
I was told to use only wax on the 3M clear bra that came on mine. Ie no abrasives or cleaners. Towels are the real key to a good looking car. Before you attack your car (or clear bra for that matter) check your towels. Grab an AOL CD - they are worthless anyway LOL - and rub the back of it with your towel. If it makes scratched in it - it WILL scratch your car. Go find some better towels.
