Meguiar's Bug, Bird and Tar Remover Wipes

Hey, I found the above mentioned product in the store today. Does anyone have any experience with it? It seems like a good thing to keep in the trunk for emergencies.

Re: Meguiar's Bug, Bird and Tar Remover Wipes

I bought them last year before I went on a long road trip. The goal was to clean the bugs off regulary because driving around in the midwest area you will hit tons of them! Anyway, they didn't work very well. They are greasy and it didn't seem to help clean any better than just any general purpose wipe. I don't know about tar but in my experience it doesn't do much of anything on bug splats.
What I find works well is a sponge with netting on the back (soft netting, nothing abrasive obviously) and just general purpose cleaner. That removed the bug stuff much better than the wipes.
