meguiar's deep crystal polish + nxt tech2 wax?
 

has anyone tried this combo? i tried this the other day and the wax doesn't seem to go on. i have to really apply a lot of effort to apply it. thanks.

my $0.02
deep crystal has a lot of oil and unless you use it sparingly and/or do an IPA wipedown afterwards, you'll have a hard time with a synthetic wax.

Tech wax and Gold Class ontop is very good.

is it hard for you to apply onto the crystal polish? it seems like the wax wont stay

Not sure I never applied it over Crystal polish

I have stopped using Crystal Polish as a final polish as it just doesn't seem to leave a nicely prepared finish for wax or sealant glaze. It seems to leave the surface really slick. I only use it to bring the shine back on my winter wheels, but I will not buy it again when I run out.

Instead, I replaced it with Meguair's Machine Glaze and then my final paint cleaner is Klasse AIO and it's been nothing but good to me. SG works well with it and then I top it off with P21S Wax.
