bryansbestwax vs Audi A5 S-line
Audi A5 S-line
Well I had the pleasure to work on this beauty and could see that the owner loved and treated their car very well. The paint was in decent shape, just some wash marring on the panels and what I found out later was a bad buff job by a paint shop on the left quarter panel. I love the colour and the rims on this baby. The Process Wash Wash was done in two steps as it was hot out and my hose didn’t quite give me enough play to get it done correctly outside. Cleaned the rims with Autoglym Custom Wheel Cleaner and a microfiber mitt and an EZ detail brush as well as a Swisswax brush for some of the tight spots. The rest of the car was washed indoors using ONR and an Uber Sponge. The correction The paint was corrected with 3 and 5.25 inch green GI pads and Menz 203 via two Flex rotaries, LD and HD. (sorry I never remember model numbers) The clear bra was correct via a PC XP and a blue Gi pad and Menz IP The interior was vacuumed using a rigid propak, and then extracted with an Azec hot rod. Various brushes and a little APC used to clean the vinyl The leather was cleaned with Lexol Cleaner The windows were done using Sprayway glass cleaner Rims saw a coating of Blackfire all metal sealant as well as the exhaust after being polished out. The tires got a new dressing formula to me, ProShield Blue Magnum, which looked very deep and rich A few Before shots http://i31.tinypic.com/24112ti.jpg http://i26.tinypic.com/348jeds.jpg http://i32.tinypic.com/1xypac.jpg http://i29.tinypic.com/16icvf5.jpg http://i28.tinypic.com/3179s41.jpg A few indoor shots http://i27.tinypic.com/2zisx2s.jpg http://i28.tinypic.com/34qahj7.jpg And a few afters http://i28.tinypic.com/289bmoh.jpg http://i29.tinypic.com/f36s9d.jpg http://i26.tinypic.com/5tugp5.jpg http://i32.tinypic.com/j0wth0.jpg And a few sun shots http://i25.tinypic.com/kbc9c1.jpg http://i32.tinypic.com/vecgh3.jpg http://i25.tinypic.com/34627m8.jpg http://i25.tinypic.com/usrq1.jpg http://i28.tinypic.com/15nxawl.jpg Thanks for looking Total time was 6.5 hours |
