Anyone ever use static guard on your exterior?

So I like my G immaculately clean at all times. So I use Quick Detailer and micros to wipe it down every day or two between washes. I wash my micros in the wash after every car wash. And lately when I wipe the car down I notice static buildup in the towels, but the car attracts dirt like no other anyways and its black.

I worked at a graphics company a while back and we'd use static guard to spray down pieces of acrylic before mounting clear graphics to them. Wondering if the same process would help with the dust accumulation on the car and if anyone has ever used this...?

Some quick detailers have an anti-static property to them. I use FK425 which promotes anti static. I think Z6 has great anti static too.

I personally like to spray my mf towels just a bit before I use them, strictly to get rid of any static. Not so much that it gets damp though. I then limit the rubbing on my paint, partly because of the static and partly because it reduces chances of marring.

So long story short...get a quality QD and limit your use...I personally wouldn't use Static Guard.
